Wills, estates and trusts.
Succession planning is a process that ensures you and your family are prepared for the future. We work with clients to plan for the timely and smooth transfer of assets, be it by direct transmission, declaration of trust or will.
After a client's passing we work with their executors to effectively administer the estate and ensure timely distribution to beneficiaries.
Occasionally, there is cause to question either the validity of a will or the provisions made in it and we are experienced in contested will matters, both on behalf of estates and applicants..
Where a client dies without a will we are able to assist family members apply for letters of administration and distribute the estate according to law.
We are also experienced in trust matters, particularly as they relate to family trusts, resulting trusts, testamentary trusts and property trusts.
